One World or None and Global Game Jam presents:
HERE COMES EVERYBODY
A Citizens’ Assembly Game Jam
LAUNCHING AT SXSW LONDON JUNE 6th 2025
Create a Mobile Game inspired by the radical collaboration of citizens assemblies
🏆 $10,000 in Cash Prizes & Workshopping for Further Development
The One World or None campaign is looking to publish a mobile game that embodies the spirit of Citizens’ Assemblies—not by simulating them, but by capturing the emotions, challenges, and joys of:
🔹 Radical collaboration
🔹 Healthy discourse & debate
🔹 Building consensus across differences
We want YOU to create a free-to-play, mobile-friendly, widely accessible game that makes players feel the power of coming together to solve problems. The winning game has the chance to reach millions and be developed further.
🎮 Fun First – The game should be engaging, replayable, and easily shareable.
🌎 Mass Reach – Casual, intuitive gameplay that appeals to a broad audience, including non-gamers.
💡 Emotion > Education – Players should leave with a sense of hope and empowerment—no need for policy lessons!
🎭 Open-Ended Creativity – Any genre or style is welcome: puzzles, interactive stories, social strategy, cooperative experiences, and beyond.
✅ Playful & inviting tone – Aspirational, yet grounded in reality.
✅ Mobile-first development – Unity preferred for efficiency.
✅ Lean & focused scope – Think Wordle, roguelikes, card games—simple, repeatable mechanics with high engagement.
🚫 Avoid political divisiveness, utopian ideals, or doom-and-gloom messaging.
This is your chance to design a game that sparks collaboration, resilience, and hope—and potentially bring it to market.
Join the Game Jam & Make an Impact!
• Teams can have as many members as needed, and solo developers are welcome. Developers may join multiple teams if all involved teams are informed.
• Each team may submit only one game, uploaded through a single itch.io account either the team leader’s personal account or a new account created for the team.
• Team members must be listed at submission, using either real names or online handles. The roster submitted will be considered final.
• Content must uphold universal values. Submissions containing political content, violence, pornography, personal attacks, anti-humanity themes, or blasphemy toward real-world religions will be disqualified.
