
Jamie Kelsey Fry (Founding Director) is one of the three people who established the world’s first global citizens’ assembly in 2020-2021 and is the producer for the forthcoming film ‘One World Or None’ about the global assembly and the movement for new democracy models. He has facilitated over 300 participatory democracy assemblies, wrote two manuals on how to run assemblies, instigated several successful local community organisations using participatory assembly practices and has been a key part of several major grassroots movements in the past two decades. He has made over 250 appearances on mainstream media as a news commentator, has provided advocacy training to over 1000 people, specialising in the voices least heard and has published a school textbook for active citizenship that was given 10 out of 10 by Times Education Supplement. He has lived in the same east London community for 25 years where he established an award winning residents group that has been used by the local council as a model for community wellbeing. He established One World Or None (OWON) on October 31st 2023.

Shelagh Wright and Peter Jenkinson (Founding Directors) are committed internationalists with extensive experience of working internationally in over 40 countries on every continent supporting creative and cultural work for progressive community, social and political development, including research into the contribution of cultural and creative activists in the campaigns and political culture of the new Municipalist Movement. Peter has a long and award winning career in museums and galleries, was the first national director of Creative Partnerships UK and an early champion of democratic cultural practices in institutions. Shelagh was a longtime associate of the think tank Demos working on creative learning and democratic entrepreneurship, is co-chair of Compass (political pressure group for a more equal, democratic and sustainable future) and non-exec director of Common Cause Foundation. They helped to galvanise the cultural work of the first Global Citizens Assembly with Jamie.
